Here are the dogs and cats–a lot of cats!–who traveled to their new homes in Colorado last week.
Thank you to everyone who gives time, donations, and effort to helping Houston’s homeless pets start new lives with new families. We work hard and have a lot of fun with all of you, and we never lose sight of those who count on us to be their voices and their wheels to a better life!
Beau (formerly Ninja) is another sweet pup that RPM transported to our good friends at 4 Paws 4 Life in Colorado. As can be seen in the photos, he is a happy pup and growing like a weed. His new family says that he loves to chase his tail and roll in the grass. He is a swimmer, and always jumps in the creek on walks. He’ll soon finish his shots and start puppy kindergarten, but he has already learned so much! He is fully crate trained and knows how to sit, shake, and lay down. He is a smart, energetic boy, and we’re so happy to hear that he is doing so well!
Just when you thought the week couldn’t get any better than realizing IT’S FRIDAY!, we have the photos of the dogs and cats who traveled the second week of May to share! And did you notice that number to the right? These dogs and cats join over 7000 saved!
Thank you to our fosters, foster task force, and social media helpers; transporters, volunteers, donors, and fundraisers; BARC, RPM, and vet staffs; and our Colorado partners for saving these and over 7000 other lives. Let’s keep this movement going strong!
A couple of weeks ago, we had a happy update from Hippos. As tiny newborns, Hippos and his eight brothers and sisters traveled with their mom, Fancy, to Colorado. This week, we have an update from Stella (formerly Tiny Dancer), Hippos’ sister! From Stella’s new mom:
Stella is super smart and playful and growing very fast! She loves meeting people and playing with her canine friends, but her favorite thing is to snuggle on the couch after a long day. She is my soulmate and I can’t imagine life without her!
