Rescued Pets Movement vowed last Thursday at its media launch that one of its goals is that no puppy will die at BARC. We also said we were going to take a break to enjoy Thanksgiving with our families. Those two plans conflicted, however, when we received emails from BARC about puppies about to be put down. So, we thought, “Meh, who needs rest anyway,” and in just 2 days, we have pulled 46 puppies (and a few older dogs) and one kitten from BARC. Pictures of some of those saved are below. (For all of our cat friends, we ARE working on helping more cats and kittens. The demand for cats and kittens is not as great as for dogs and puppies. But we are not giving up!)
If you are able to temporarily foster and open your home and heart to any of these pets, PLEASE let us know. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. PLEASE.
If you cannot foster and are willing to donate, PLEASE do. No amount is too small.
