Success Story Sunday: Penny.

Penny was a Length of Stay dog at BARC. The term “length of stay” or LOS means that a dog has reached the end of their time at a shelter. Everything had been done to try to find a family for her and she was about to be put to sleep to make room for a new dog. RPM moved Penny out of BARC when we saw her on the LOS list and got her out in the nick of time. Eventually, we found the perfect adopter for her. Jon lives in Moab, Utah, and drove over five hours to meet Penny when she finally arrived in Denver. Not long after their meeting we received the following note and the above photos.

Hi Cindy,
Words cant express how pleased I am, thoughts of how this all came together for me….. and Penny brings a tear to my eye!
Penny is way more than I expected! Here are a few photo’s of Thursday on the creek with us, she has also been to the dog park and did very well! (super stoked!!) I really want to thank you all for everything you have done for us! Your work has definitely paid off with this sweet little puppy!
