Celebrating Over 70K Lives Saved!
We are thrilled to announce that Rescued Pets Movement has officially saved over 70,000 lives from BARC since 2013!
This incredible milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our fosters, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Each rescued pet represents a second chance that we couldn’t have achieved without the unwavering support from our community.
Houston’s homeless animals face many challenges, but together, we’ve made a significant impact. Every rescue, every foster, and every donation has contributed to this milestone.
Despite last month being our most challenging yet due to the storm and the significant damage it caused to our clinic, we achieved remarkable success in rescuing animals from BARC. In May alone, we saved 589 dogs and cats! This is a true testament to the hard work of our amazing team of fosters, volunteers, staff, and supporters.
Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us give these animals the love and care they deserve. Here’s to saving even more lives in the years to come!

Why I Foster…
“We started fostering after our personal pets all passed as we hope to travel extensively. Fostering fills the void when we are home and our goal is to fill them with love before their journey. It’s always hard to let go but the posts from other fosters make you know that you are not alone. Plus, there’s always another to help. RPM has made such a difference for Houston area animals.
