Remembering Cary Robinson: A Legacy of Love and Dedication to Animals

Rescued Pets Movement suffers severe storm damage in May 2024

Three years ago, on July 17th, we lost a beloved Rescued Pets Movement family member, Cary Robinson. Cary’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of animals and his tireless efforts as a BARC volunteer left an indelible mark on our community and the countless lives he touched.

Cary was more than just a volunteer; he was a passionate advocate for animals, always putting their best interests at the forefront of everything he did. His work conducting temperament tests on dogs was instrumental in ensuring that each animals received the care and attention they needed to find a plan for them. Cary’s commitment and compassion earned him the affectionate title of “Used Dog Salesman of the Year,” a testament to the many pets he helped get a second chance at life.

Cary’s impact on the lives of these animals and the people he came in contact with is immeasurable. His dedication went beyond the call of duty, showing us all what it truly means to be an advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Though Cary is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives of the animals he helped save and the hearts of those who had the privilege of working alongside him. We remember Cary not just for his contributions, but for his kind spirit, his unwavering passion, and his dedication to making the world a better place for animals.

On this day, July 17th, we honor Cary Robinson and the incredible legacy he left behind. We miss you, Cary, but your spirit continues to inspire us every day! Thank you for everything you did for the animals and for teaching us the true meaning of compassion and advocacy.

Rest in peace, dear friend. Your work and love for animals will never be forgotten!

Why I Foster…

We started fostering after our personal pets all passed as we hope to travel extensively. Fostering fills the void when we are home and our goal is to fill them with love before their journey. It’s always hard to let go but the posts from other fosters make you know that you are not alone. Plus, there’s always another to help. RPM has made such a difference for Houston area animals. I always feel supported and heard.”
