Angie needs our help.

RPM is rescuing little Angie from BARC today as she was set to be put to sleep over the weekend. She is a 6 month old lab puppy and just 24lbs. She is spayed, up to date on shots and all ready to go home. She will be picked up from BARC today and head to our vet to be checked out and then will be ready to go. She has a foster home with other labbie brothers and sisters waiting for her in Colorado and together, we can save her sweet little life. Here is where we need your help:

1. Can someone temporary foster this little one for the week? We plan to send her on our CO run next week. It’s so hard on puppies to sit in boarding (and an expense that can be better used to save the life of another dog or cat who can go to CO).

2. Need $50 to sponsor for her ride to CO – can anyone be her rescue angel and sponsor her? Or maybe a few people can come together to sponsor her.

Please email me at if you can help foster her. To donate for her, please visit us at

Angie and your friends at RPM want to thank you so much for being part of the animal rescue community and coming together to save so many lives!!

Please feel free to save the image file to your computer so you can share it on Facebook, Twitter, or the social media site of your choice. Also, please print copies of the flyer to give to your friends, frenemies, work colleagues, and the annoying people who knock on your door when you’re trying to watch Buffy on Netflix.

A happy rescue email.

The folks at Rescued Pets Movement thought you all might like to receive a rescue email that neither is sad nor asks for money. Below is a link to pictures of some of the 95 dogs and cats who were sprung from BARC on Thursday, September 26th and Monday, September 30th. All of these babies made it safely to Colorado and are now in their respective foster homes awaiting forever homes. We hope you enjoy.

We would also like to thank all of the donors who sponsored these pets, the volunteers who came out to help walk the dogs and load up the van, and the people at BARC who are working hard to save these babies.

Thanks again for joining our movement to make Houston a no-kill city.
